OrthoAlliance (OA), one of the country’s leading orthopedic management services organizations, has announced a new partnership with Midwest Center for Joint Replacement (MCJR) of Central Indiana.
The partnership will enhance MCJR’s success and comprehensive approach to delivering specialized surgical care to more patients throughout Central Indiana. In addition, it will bring OA’s proven method of providing the infrastructure of administrative functions for orthopedic practices such as billing, marketing, support systems and more – that allow physicians and staff to focus even more on caring for patients.
“Our entire team at MCJR is excited to join OrthoAlliance, which has quickly grown into the Midwest’s most prominent orthopedic network,” said Midwest Center for Joint Replacement Board-Certified Orthopedic Surgeon and Co-Founder Wesley G. Lackey, M.D.
“MCJR’s surgeons have pioneered taking the pain out of joint replacement for all involved, and our goal is to give each patient individualized care,” Dr. Joshua Carter says. “OrthoAlliance shares our passion and commitment to believing that all individuals deserve an incomparable level of support, skill, experience and respect.”
MCJR operates clinic offices in Indianapolis and Bloomington with an accomplished and innovative team that has more than 50 years of combined experience in joint replacement expertise and surgery.
“Our surgeons are national leaders in outpatient joint replacement surgery,” Dr. Colin Penrose says. “We also play a key role in joint replacement research, discoveries and publications, having developed advanced recovery protocols and pioneered many of the latest hip and knee implant designs.”
MCJR’s services include total and partial knee replacement, anterior hip replacement, and outpatient joint replacement as well as treatment for arthritis, knee pain and hip pain. Most outpatient surgeries are performed at MCJR’s Indianapolis office or at the Bloomington Advanced Surgery Center, which is located across the street from MCJR’s Bloomington office.
Based in Cincinnati, OrthoAlliance is a management services organization formed in partnership with leading Midwest physician practices and Revelstoke Capital Partners, a Denver-based private equity firm. The company is building one of the country’s leading orthopedic management services organizations, providing operations, marketing, and patient-experience expertise and resources to partner practices working at the forefront of life-changing advances in orthopedics and sports medicine.
Since 2019, OA has grown quickly to over 180 physicians and over 2,000 employees while partnering with now ten practices across Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana.
